I raced in the marcha Juan Martinez at the weekend and
had another good result coming 17th o/a . They also had Olympic champion Joan Llaneras taking part which was special, although he didn't contest the race. Out of the 131km we covered it rained for about 70, which considering we were racing around the so called deserts of Almeria and passed mini hollywood where they used to film scenes from spaghetti westerns it felt a bit wierd. Part of the race included a descent for a change which had a couple of people off in the rain, and carbon pinarello's dont make a nice noise when they are sliding. All the training seems to be paying off though. We are getting ready in Cadiar for the fiesta that starts this weekend and goes on for around a week with fair rides, music and food, and the free wine fountain!!! I'm racing again this weekend in Granada which will be it for a while then as we are busy with guests.classifications
